Aman Thakral

Aman has over 14 years of experience working on data-driven and web based software platforms, with a strong focus on platforms involving business to business to consumer scaling from cold-start (no data, no users), to a large consumer base. He brings invaluable experience in particular operationally scaling such platforms, and then successfully exiting the platform at a multi-billion dollar valuations and cash-flow. In addition to that he brings significant domain expertise in the field of regulatory and safety requirements in the area of business and consumer payments, especially when applied to scaling such processes using software and AI. In the past he has worked on a diverse set of problems in agriculture, remote sensing, health care, finance, and semantic search. He was part of the core scientific team at The Climate Corporation, and provided key technical details during the due diligence process for it’s acquisition by Monsanto for $1.1 billion. He was also the Co-founder of a payments platform that was exited recently for multi-billion dollar valuation. Aman holds a Masters degree in Engineering from McMaster University (Hamilton, Canada).
