Rodney is a Researcher/Architect/Engineer with over 15 years experience and an academic research background in statistical/computational physics. He has conducted applied research and built large-scale distributed data-processing systems in both large businesses and start-ups. As a statistical modeler, he oversaw end-­to-­end development of complex machine learning models for search relevance. As an engineer, he built world-­class distributed systems, both batch and real-time. As a founding tech lead, he designed and built infrastructure and key statistical components from scratch.
