Alex is in the class of 2020 at Newport High School taking Math, Science, English, and Social Studies one year above grade level with a particular interest in Science and Math classes. He is also Vice President of CAD at Newport Robotics Group (NRG 948) in FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).

Because of his enthusiasm for STEM topics, Alex teaches CAD to a FIRST Technical Competition (FTC) team, writes Python, and studies Math topics such as Statistics, Calculus, and Linear Algebra. He has a passion for the creative and logical thinking required by Math, Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
