Congratulations to the exceptional graduates of the Data Brigade 2016 Hands-On Machine Learning Internship! The students built a simulator to produce human-like behavior and interactions with their personal computer editing files. From this data, a full-blown machine-learning system was bootstrapped that is able to graduate directly to real-life data without having to build an intermediate rule-based system; a common problem in cold-start scenarios in Machine-Learning, and a common problem not only at startups doing machine-learning, but even big companies trying to get into a new area.
